BK Dammhag's players were relieved. Anders Benett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilhelm Engström having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Sören Holmgren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had been going on for 36 minutes, Blåviksjön's Georg Joensson got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Wilhelm Engström. BK Dammhag's Wilhelm Engström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mark Lundin in the 41st minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Mark Lundin made the kick off in the second half. Mark Lundin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Blåviksjön's Björn Abelsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Blåviksjön from getting a goal against them. In the 59th minute Anders Benett shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilhelm Engström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes had been played when some careless play by BK Dammhag's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Georg Joensson was slow to take the kick. During this time Blåviksjön's players had a chance to rest. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Anders Benett managed to get in a good position for a shot. Blåviksjön's supporters rose to their feet, but Anders Benett was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilhelm Engström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 78 minutes, Mark Lundin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Blåviksjön's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mark Lundin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mark Lundin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Wilhelm Engström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anders Benett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilhelm Engström having to interfere. In the 89th minute Mark Lundin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilhelm Engström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 92 minutes into the game, Börje Snell cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Wilhelm Engström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
