Elof Tunander hit a great ball. Algot Eriksson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stig Askstedt having to interfere. In the 34th match minute, Fogdö IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Åke Alin to maneuver through the defense. Fred Holmgren hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Hugo Pedersson's late challenge caught a Grönahög IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hugo Pedersson helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Fogdö IF's Hugo Pedersson got a free kick in the 40th minute. After having played for 45 minutes, Henry Jönsätt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fogdö IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henry Jönsätt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 47th minute, Fred Holmgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Åke Alin kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. In the 90th minute Grönahög IF were awarded a corner. Martin Landin went to the cornerflag to take it. Michael Bock tried in the 90th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Stig Askstedt a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 1-2. Josef Sjöström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Pedersson in the 93rd minute of the match. If Algot Eriksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Grönahög IF eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
