Nils Bergfeldt started the match with the kick off. Folke Hägglund succeeded in the game's 5th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Nils Bergfeldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Haeger having to interfere. Grönahög IF's Josef Sjöström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Grönahög IF from getting a goal against them. If Algot Eriksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Algot Eriksson in the 25th minute of play forced Schtek IF's goalkeeper Michael Haeger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Algot Eriksson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Michael Haeger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Schtek IF's Michael Haeger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nils Bergfeldt in the 30th minute of play. When Algot Eriksson came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Grönahög IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Algot Eriksson couldn't finish the play. Schtek IF's Michael Haeger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Algot Eriksson in the 34th minute of play. Michael Haeger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nils Bergfeldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Folke Hägglund in the 39th minute of play forced Grönahög IF's goalkeeper Josef Sjöström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Folke Hägglund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Josef Sjöström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Folke Hägglund was the one to do the kick off. When the match clock showed 61 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Algot Eriksson sped through Schtek IF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Michael Haeger. Michael Haeger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils Bergfeldt in the 64th minute of the match. After 66 played minutes Nils Bergfeldt rounded Schtek IF's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. A collision led to Grönahög IF getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Karl-Magnus Ekberg hit a great ball. Schtek IF's Folke Hägglund got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 74th minute Jörgen Kvarnström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Josef Sjöström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Schtek IF's Folke Hägglund sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Josef Sjöström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Algot Eriksson struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Michael Haeger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grönahög IF. Grönahög IF played a much better game than Schtek IF and deserved their victory. The Schtek IF players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
