A collision led to Rentjärn IK getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Maximilian Näver hit a great ball. Josef Sjöström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joachim Vacker in the 13th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Rentjärn IK's goal looked a bit too open when Nils Bergfeldt came free, but Dan Odin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rentjärn IK's Joachim Vacker got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Josef Sjöström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freddie Hake, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Freddie Hake struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Josef Sjöström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rentjärn IK. 0-2 became the score in the 34th minute when Freddie Hake elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Algot Eriksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karl-Magnus Ekberg charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Karl-Magnus Ekberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Karl-Magnus Ekberg hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match.
