Hannes Ahlén fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Haeger having to interfere. If Joel Pihl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hannes Ahlén took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Michael Haeger. Michael Haeger dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Joel Pihl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

57 minutes into the game, Åkarp FK's Manfred Alebeck nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Michael Haeger made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Joel Pihl's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Michael Haeger read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hannes Ahlén in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Michael Haeger prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Magnus Trillkott got free with Michael Haeger in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Joel Pihl recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Michael Haeger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hannes Ahlén in the 76th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joel Pihl got free with Michael Haeger in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 86 minutes into the match, Åkarp FK's Joel Pihl sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Michael Haeger narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Edmund Håkansson in the 88thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Michael Haeger, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Åkarp FK's Joel Pihl got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sven Widberg hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hannes Ahlén in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Michael Haeger saved Schtek IF from getting behind. The supporters of Åkarp FK booed when Schtek IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Einar Kollberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 98th minute of the match Roger Hermansson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Michael Haeger showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Åkarp FK played a much better game than Schtek IF and deserved their victory. The Schtek IF players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
