Spectators: 7261 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1686, VIP seats: 75) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Kurt Högberg took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute, Nitta FC's Kurt Högberg ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Aron Frisck. Aron Frisck yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Björn Ahlqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Påk in the 7th minute of play. After 9 played minutes Virserum got a freekick which was hit by Börge Carlberg. Nitta FC's Karl-Erik Bållström couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 10th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Virserum. In the 11th match minute, Virserum was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Bergfelt to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Virserum's Aron Frisck got control of the ball when Karl-Michael Sefastsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Björn Ahlqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustav Brandin in the 16th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Virserum's Börge Carlberg got a free kick in the 17th minute. Aron Frisck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Michael Sefastsson in the 24th minute of play. After 27 played minutes Nitta FC got a freekick which was hit by Frank Gallin. Gustav Brandin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd match minute, Nitta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jens-Erik Sikström to maneuver through the defense. Karl-Michael Sefastsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute Kurt Högberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aron Frisck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karl-Michael Sefastsson took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aron Frisck. Aron Frisck dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcus Påk stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Karl-Erik Bållström kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Björn Ahlqvist was a little too slow when Marcus Påk got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 60th minute. The score was now 3-1. A collision led to Virserum getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Christian Molin hit a great ball. Ture Lidberg charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ture Lidberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Marcus Påk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gustav Brandin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gustav Brandin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Björn Ahlqvist made a huge save. In the 91st minute, Kurt Högberg made a precise shot to the right of Aron Frisck. Virserum's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. In the 95th match minute, Virserum was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ture Lidberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th minute Karl-Erik Bållström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aron Frisck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 99 minutes into the match, Virserum's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Michael Sefastsson came free, but Aron Frisck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Virserum's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
