Gösta Olenberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Brian Kleen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gösta Olenberg ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Hagfors getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Emil Palm hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Hagfors's zone, Rikard Bergvall stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brian Kleen came out of the goal and Rikard Bergvall tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gösta Olenberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The attack was good, but when Eric Wiklund in the 17th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 18th minute of the match, Victor Termander got a very nice opportunity to score, but Evert Gregersson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 20 played minutes Hagfors got a freekick which was hit by Jerry Tham. If Rikard Bergvall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brian Kleen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gösta Olenberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Victor Termander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Evert Gregersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Victor Termander ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Evert Gregersson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Hagfors's Eric Wiklund got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Victor Termander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Eric Wiklund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victor Termander's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Evert Gregersson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rikard Bergvall made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Victor Termander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evert Gregersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 52nd minute, Victor Termander left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hagfors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Jerry Tham's late challenge caught a Immortal FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The supporters of Hagfors booed when Immortal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Viggo Björklund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Immortal FC's Evert Gregersson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eric Wiklund in the 64th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Victor Termander left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hagfors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Victor Termander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evert Gregersson having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Immortal FC's Bengt-Rune Söderqwist got a free kick in the 78th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eric Wiklund in the 82nd minute of play forced Immortal FC's goalkeeper Evert Gregersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eric Wiklund struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Evert Gregersson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hagfors. Mårten Åberg kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. 86 minutes into the game, Eric Wiklund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hagfors's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Immortal FC the free kick. In the 86th match minute, Hagfors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eric Wiklund to maneuver through the defense.
