After a defensive mix-up in Axvall FF's zone, Philip Hägglund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pontus Pedersson came out of the goal and Philip Hägglund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Philip Hägglund might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pontus Pedersson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Philip Hägglund ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 17th minute, Douglas Nyström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Philip Hägglund's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Pontus Pedersson firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 19th minute, FC Almstigen's Philip Hägglund ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pontus Pedersson. Pontus Pedersson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The audience was convinced that Douglas Nyström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pontus Pedersson was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in FC Almstigen's zone, John Hjälm stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stig-Arne Billock came out of the goal and John Hjälm tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stig-Arne Billock showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rickard Blixt in the 33rd minute of the match. John Hjälm blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stig-Arne Billock having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Philip Hägglund managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Almstigen's supporters rose to their feet, but Philip Hägglund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pontus Pedersson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pontus Pedersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Douglas Nyström, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Rickard Blixt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stig-Arne Billock having to interfere. Pontus Pedersson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Douglas Nyström in the 46th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rickard Blixt made a kick off. After having played for 55 minutes, Douglas Nyström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Almstigen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Douglas Nyström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 58th minute, Douglas Nyström made a precise shot to the right of Pontus Pedersson. Axvall FF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 61 minutes into the match, Axvall FF's goal looked a bit too open when Philip Hägglund came free, but Pontus Pedersson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 62 minutes, Douglas Nyström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Almstigen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Douglas Nyström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Axvall FF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 64th minute. Penalty! Christopher Mikaelsson shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Philip Hägglund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Pontus Pedersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FC Almstigen's Lars Sjöö got a free kick in the 78th minute. A hard shot by Felix Dalman from long distance, 79 minutes into the match, got Stig-Arne Billock's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Pontus Pedersson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Douglas Nyström in the 82nd minute of play. In the 83rd match minute, Axvall FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torbjörn Tunander to maneuver through the defense. Douglas Nyström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pontus Pedersson having to interfere.
