The supporters of Slutarp booed when Nykil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Axelsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Boris Ekström during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Boris Ekström kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Slutarp's Romelio Mendiguren threw himself towards the right post 19 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Thomas Nordkvist, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Slutarp's Sven-Edvin Engström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikael Knutsson in the 20th minute of play. Fredric Lindmark could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Romelio Mendiguren made a huge save. Mikael Knutsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sven-Edvin Engström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Romelio Mendiguren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Nordkvist in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th minute Rasmus Beckström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romelio Mendiguren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mikael Knutsson in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sven-Edvin Engström saved Slutarp from getting behind. In the 42nd minute of the match Mattias Koch sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sven-Edvin Engström skillfully saved the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Slutarp's goal looked a bit too open when Mikael Knutsson came free, but Sven-Edvin Engström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 45 minutes of play, Nykil's Gerardo Gomez made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sven-Edvin Engström was left in no man's land by his defense there!

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Thomas Nordkvist to make the kick off. A collision led to Slutarp getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Johannes Sundström hit a great ball. 58 minutes into the match, Fredric Lindmark had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Romelio Mendiguren. Nykil's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fredric Lindmark was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Mikael Knutsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sven-Edvin Engström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. When Stig-Ove Kielberg fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Slutarp's protests and gave Stig-Ove Kielberg a yellow card for diving instead. Nykil's Romelio Mendiguren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rasmus Beckström in the 67th minute of play. In the 69th minute of the match Erik Kullander shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sven-Edvin Engström showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Mikael Knutsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mikael Knutssons short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Sven-Edvin Engström to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 79th minute, Johannes Sundström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Romelio Mendiguren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig-Ove Kielberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig-Ove Kielberg in the 86th minute of play forced Nykil's goalkeeper Romelio Mendiguren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner ended in Rikard Stenman almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Nykil's Romelio Mendiguren did a great save. After some careless play in the Nykil defense, Thomas Nordkvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Romelio Mendiguren. The Nykil fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Romelio Mendiguren should have stopped the shot. Gerardo Gomez's late challenge caught a Slutarp's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gerardo Gomez helped the player get up and apologised. After 93 played minutes Nykil got a freekick which was hit by Gerardo Gomez. Slutarp's Fredric Lindmark got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Nykil had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
