Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Thomas Nordkvist got the match started through his kick off. Öxabäck BK's Per-Arne Söderström shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 4th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Sven-Edvin Engström but with some difficulty. After 5 played minutes Slutarp got a freekick which was hit by Stig-Ove Kielberg. With his leg Sven-Edvin Engström managed to avoid a goal in the 10thth minute, when Öxabäck BK's Sten Kaxe fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Pär Pilberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 18 minutes into the game, Rune Mattsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Öxabäck BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Slutarp the free kick. Rune Mattsson hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Fredric Lindmark received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Harry Högström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sten Kaxe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fredric Lindmark might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Harry Högström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fredric Lindmark ran back to his position shaking his head. After 34th play minutes Fredric Lindmark shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Harry Högström and just under the crossbar into goal. Harry Högström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Nordkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The wind increased when Pär Pilberg made the kick off in the second half. Sten Kaxe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Edvin Engström having to interfere. Sven-Edvin Engström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pär Pilberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Sten Kaxe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Sven-Edvin Engström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Harry Högström made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Fredric Lindmark sent off a good shot on target. Petter Kock's late challenge caught a Slutarp's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Petter Kock helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpected shot in the 62nd minute by Thomas Nordkvist got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Harry Högström was out of position in the 64 minute of play, and Thomas Nordkvist capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Thomas Nordkvist really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Thomas Nordkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harry Högström having to interfere. After 78 played minutes Öxabäck BK got a freekick which was hit by Gösta Jakobsson. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Thomas Nordkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Slutarp's supporters rose to their feet, but Thomas Nordkvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Harry Högström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Slutarp's Sven-Edvin Engström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sten Kaxe in the 81st minute of play. If Thomas Nordkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
