If Jörgen Ahlkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 4th minute, Mark Asklund left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dala-Husby IK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Anthon Lindholm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jörgen Ahlkvist in the 9th minute of play. Anthon Lindholm came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Dala-Husby IK's Mark Asklund. But to his dismay, Mark Asklund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Andreas Sundberg had great luck who in the 18thth minute grab hold of the ball when Torsten Dahlkvist from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Dala-Husby IK's Andreas Sundberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michael Trillkott in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Dala-Husby IK's goalkeeper Andreas Sundberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 27 minutes into the match, Dala-Husby IK's goalkeeper Andreas Sundberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Michael Trillkott. Mark Asklund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anthon Lindholm having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Idkerberget RK's zone, Mark Asklund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anthon Lindholm came out of the goal and Mark Asklund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 32nd minute, Jörgen Ahlkvist made a precise shot to the right of Anthon Lindholm. Idkerberget RK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Brian Qvalfeldt struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Anthon Lindholm didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dala-Husby IK. Idkerberget RK's Anthon Lindholm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jörgen Ahlkvist in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Mark Asklund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dala-Husby IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Mark Asklund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anthon Lindholm breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Idkerberget RK getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Jan-Olof Eriksson hit a great ball. 55 minutes into the match, Idkerberget RK's goal looked a bit too open when Mark Asklund came free, but Anthon Lindholm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Dala-Husby IK's Anthon Lindholm threw himself towards the right post 58 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mark Asklund, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Anthon Lindholm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mark Asklund, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Idkerberget RK's zone, Mark Asklund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anthon Lindholm came out of the goal and Mark Asklund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Idkerberget RK's Anthon Lindholm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mark Asklund in the 75th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Idkerberget RK's Greger Strand got a free kick in the 77th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mark Asklund in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anthon Lindholm prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Dala-Husby IK booed when Idkerberget RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jens Olofsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpected shot in the 81st minute by Jörgen Ahlkvist got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 87th minute, Jens Olofsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dala-Husby IK's Jörgen Ahlkvist got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
