After a rather tough play, Gib Team's Sven-Edvin Björnberg got a free kick in the 8th minute. If Tim Samuelsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carl Bergman in the 14th minute of play forced Fjärdsjömåla AIF's goalkeeper Viggo Jonasson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute, Vilhelm Magnusson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Tim Samuelsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 48th minute Tim Samuelsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viggo Jonasson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Johannes Bäckman made the kick off in the second half. Carl Bergman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Viggo Jonasson made a huge save. Viggo Jonasson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tim Samuelsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 58th minute, Vilhelm Magnusson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carl Bergman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viggo Jonasson having to interfere. 66 minutes into the game, Vidar Henriksson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gib Team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fjärdsjömåla AIF the free kick. A collision led to Gib Team getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. In the 74th minute, Gib Team's Tim Samuelsson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Viggo Jonasson. Viggo Jonasson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. 84 minutes into the game, Carl Bergman lined in a short shot 0-3 behind a frustrated Viggo Jonasson. Tim Samuelsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viggo Jonasson having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Tim Lindgren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Johannes Bäckman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Gib Team supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Gib Team would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
