An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Erik Harman in the 4th minute of play forced Gib Team's goalkeeper Per-Olof Lundhberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Åke Löfgren made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Carl Bergman sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Gib Team's Sven-Edvin Björnberg got a free kick in the 8th minute. Elliott Östlund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Per-Olof Lundhberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elliott Östlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per-Olof Lundhberg having to interfere. When Metropolis Xiàmén FC's Sven-Erik Harman in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gib Team's goalie prevented a goal. Metropolis Xiàmén FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tomas Mellbad in the 17th minute. The corner led to Metropolis Xiàmén FC's Sven-Erik Harman getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. When Elliott Östlund came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Metropolis Xiàmén FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elliott Östlund couldn't finish the play. After having played for 22 minutes, Elliott Östlund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Metropolis Xiàmén FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elliott Östlund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Per-Olof Lundhberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Erik Harman, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 34 minutes into the game, Gib Team's Carl Bergman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Åke Löfgren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Sven-Erik Harman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Sven-Erik Harman made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Sven-Erik Harman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Gib Team getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Vidar Henriksson hit a great ball. When Metropolis Xiàmén FC's Sven-Erik Harman in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gib Team's goalie prevented a goal. If Carl Bergman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. John Ånger's late challenge caught a Gib Team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. John Ånger helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Metropolis Xiàmén FC's John Ånger got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Per-Olof Lundhberg made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Elliott Östlund sent off a good shot on target. Åke Löfgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Edvin Björnberg in the 72nd minute of play. Elliott Östlund took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Per-Olof Lundhberg. Per-Olof Lundhberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Vidar Henriksson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Åke Löfgren having to make a save. Åke Löfgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carl Bergman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elliott Östlund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Per-Olof Lundhberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elliott Östlund struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Per-Olof Lundhberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Metropolis Xiàmén FC. Sven-Erik Harman received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Per-Olof Lundhberg came out and tried to block the shot, but Sven-Erik Harman slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 87th minute. Carl Bergman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
