A very good chance. In the 22nd minute Nils-Erik Mikaelsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Einar Berglund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th match minute, Sons Of Legends was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bror Fredriksson to maneuver through the defense. Evert Bengtsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Carl Bollström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of AIK Stockholm booed when Sons Of Legends was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thomas Morat didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute of the match Olof Billing sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carl Bollström skillfully saved the ball. Sven-Edvin Engström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Einar Berglund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in AIK Stockholm's zone, Sven-Edvin Engström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Einar Berglund came out of the goal and Sven-Edvin Engström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Sven-Edvin Engström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Nils-Erik Mikaelsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Einar Berglund was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Olov Bröms to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Robert Bern hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Joakim Hultin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carl Bollström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olov Bröms in the 58th minute of play. Sven-Edvin Engström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Evert Bengtsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sons Of Legends's Carl Bollström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Sons Of Legends from getting a goal against them. Sven-Edvin Engström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Einar Berglund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Sven-Edvin Engström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olov Bröms in the 86th minute of play forced Sons Of Legends's goalkeeper Carl Bollström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. AIK Stockholm's Olov Bröms got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Robert Bern hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Einar Berglund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nils-Erik Mikaelsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
