Spectators: 7303 (Terracing: 5478, Seating: 1680, VIP seats: 145) Karl-Oskar Bergkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Åke Nyman having to interfere. After 7 minutes of play, Östavall FK's John Åström made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Åke Nyman was left in no man's land by his defense there! Roy Ström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Svante Fribäck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute, Sven-Erik Mogren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hallabro's Kent Backlund couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 17th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Östavall FK. An unexpected shot in the 19th minute by Sivert Colin got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Åke Nyman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Oskar Bergkvist in the 23rd minute of play. Karl-Oskar Bergkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Östavall FK's Roy Ström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Svante Fribäck in the 28th minute of play. Åke Nyman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Åström in the 30th minute of play. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Karl-Oskar Bergkvist sped through Hallabro's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Åke Nyman. After a defensive mix-up in Hallabro's zone, Karl-Oskar Bergkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Åke Nyman came out of the goal and Karl-Oskar Bergkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Svante Fribäck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hallabro's supporters rose to their feet, but Svante Fribäck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roy Ström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anders Ahlrot during the 48th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Östavall FK's Anders Ahlrot got a free kick in the 48th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Svante Fribäck to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Karl-Oskar Bergkvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Åke Nyman was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. 63 minutes into the match, Hallabro's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Oskar Bergkvist came free, but Åke Nyman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 67 played minutes Hallabro got a freekick which was hit by Jan Sundström. When John Åström came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Östavall FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that John Åström couldn't finish the play. 69 minutes into the match, Hallabro's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Oskar Bergkvist came free, but Åke Nyman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Åke Nyman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Oskar Bergkvist in the 71st minute of the match. Karl-Oskar Bergkvist blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Åke Nyman having to make a save. Östavall FK's Anders Ahlrot got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anders Ahlrot got his second yellow card in the match during the 87th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Anders Ahlrot kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Hallabro's Åke Nyman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Oskar Bergkvist in the 90th minute of play. Östavall FK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
