Göran Andersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan-Ove Hedlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. When Höllviken's Jan-Ove Hedlund in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Göran Andersson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 37 played minutes Bjärred BK got a freekick which was hit by Ludvig Ingvall. In the 38th minute Jan-Ove Hedlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Göran Andersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Sivert Wästerberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Höllviken's Sivert Wästerberg got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Bjärred BK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Höllviken were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jan-Ove Hedlund was the one to do the kick off. Jan-Ove Hedlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Göran Andersson having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Bjärred BK's zone, Jan-Ove Hedlund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Göran Andersson came out of the goal and Jan-Ove Hedlund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Höllviken booed when Bjärred BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rickard Ahlgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Jan-Ove Hedlund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Höllviken's supporters rose to their feet, but Jan-Ove Hedlund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Göran Andersson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jan-Ove Hedlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 64 minutes into the game, Höllviken's Jan-Ove Hedlund nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Göran Andersson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. If Jan-Ove Hedlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sivert Wästerberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Göran Andersson made a huge save. 88 minutes into the match, Bjärred BK's goal looked a bit too open when Jan-Ove Hedlund came free, but Göran Andersson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rickard Ahlgren hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice moves Sivert Wästerberg could shoot a difficult shot in the 91st minute, which Göran Andersson however easily saved by the left post. 93 minutes into the match, Bjärred BK's goal looked a bit too open when Jan-Ove Hedlund came free, but Göran Andersson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Höllviken walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
