Spectators: 7235 (Terracing: 5428, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alexander Pillai started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rickard Brovall in the 3rd minute of play forced Més Que Un Club's goalkeeper Sten Bäcklin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alexander Pillai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Gabriel Karlsson fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Fortitudine's protests and gave Gabriel Karlsson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 9th minute, Gabriel Karlsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Alexander Pillai came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Més Que Un Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexander Pillai couldn't finish the play. Rickard Brovall charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rickard Brovall the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 11 played minutes FC Fortitudine got a freekick which was hit by Rickard Brovall. Alexander Pillai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Emanuel Holmgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 18 minutes into the game, Evert Ahlkvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Sten Bäcklin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alexander Pillai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Emanuel Holmgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Evert Ahlkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Més Que Un Club's Torbjörn Magnusson got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Gert Näver charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gert Näver the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 35th match minute, FC Fortitudine was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gert Näver to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, FC Fortitudine's Emanuel Holmgren got control of the ball when Torbjörn Magnusson tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 40th minute, Alexander Pillai ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emanuel Holmgren was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. When Rickard Brovall was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 44 minutes had been played. A collision led to FC Fortitudine getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Rickard Brovall hit a great ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After having played for 51 minutes, Gert Näver managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Fortitudine's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gert Näver was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gert Näver fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sten Bäcklin having to interfere. Alexander Pillai scored 2-1 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emanuel Holmgren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alexander Pillai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Holmgren having to interfere. Torbjörn Magnusson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emanuel Holmgren having to make a save. Alexander Pillai's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emanuel Holmgren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Emanuel Holmgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexander Pillai in the 68th minute of play. Emanuel Holmgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexander Pillai, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Torbjörn Magnusson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 74th minute Alexander Pillai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Holmgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Evert Ahlkvist hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. After having played for 79 minutes, Alexander Pillai managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Més Que Un Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sten Bäcklin should have stopped the shot. Gert Näver could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Sten Bäcklin made a huge save. Gert Näver hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Més Que Un Club's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
