Douglas Kämpe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Douglas Kämpe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Georg Skålberg in the 11th minute of play. When Hippopotamus AIK's Robin Lindkvist in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Legendernas FK's goalie prevented a goal. Douglas Kämpe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robin Lindkvist in the 15th minute of the match. Hippopotamus AIK's Robin Lindkvist got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot 29 in the game by Axel Forsberg from a close distance when the talented Lars Nordström managed to make a qualified save. Hippopotamus AIK's players were relieved. A collision led to Hippopotamus AIK getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Henrik Kilstedt hit a great ball. The goalkeeper, Lars Nordström, was totally fooled by Legendernas FK's Aleksander Svensson, who 32 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Hippopotamus AIK's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Kent Vikström 37 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. Kent Vikström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 43 minutes, Axel Forsberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Legendernas FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Axel Forsberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Douglas Kämpe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robin Lindkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kent Vikström made a kick off. Alexander Söderman charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alexander Söderman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 57th minute, Axel Forsberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 69 played minutes Legendernas FK got a freekick which was hit by Jim Vallin. If Kent Vikström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lars Nordström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Forsberg in the 78th minute of the match. After 79 minutes, Hjalmar Westerstrand mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hippopotamus AIK and the Legendernas FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience was convinced that Kent Vikström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lars Nordström was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Kent Vikström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Legendernas FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Kent Vikström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lars Nordström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Claes Alfors might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lars Nordström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Claes Alfors ran back to his position shaking his head. Douglas Kämpe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robin Lindkvist in the 92nd minute of the match. Claes Alfors recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Legendernas FK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Hippopotamus AIK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
