Axel Jonasson hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Sten Sjöberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulrik Hjälm in the 13th minute of play. Göran Mellin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hampus Benet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Göran Mellin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hampus Benet, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Göran Mellin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hampus Benet's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Evert Vikström charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Evert Vikström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 34th match minute, Tierp was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evert Vikström to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Mockfjärd's Daniel Albom tried to score from far away in the 35th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Göran Mellin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mats Holmberg in the 40th minute of the match. Ulrik Hjälm was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 42nd minute. Mockfjärd's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After having played for 44 minutes, Ulrik Hjälm managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mockfjärd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulrik Hjälm was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 46 minutes into the match, Tierp's goal looked a bit too open when Ulrik Hjälm came free, but Sten Sjöberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hampus Benet was the one to do the kick off. Mockfjärd's Göran Mellin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hampus Benet in the 54th minute of play. Hampus Benet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 59th minute, Frans Wallin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tierp's Sten Sjöberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulrik Hjälm in the 65th minute of play. After 67 minutes, Daniel Albom mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mockfjärd and the Tierp players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the match had been going on for 68 minutes, Tierp's Marcus Hydén got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Göran Mellin. Sten Sjöberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulrik Hjälm, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Tierp's Hampus Benet got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Mats Holmberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tierp's supporters rose to their feet, but Mats Holmberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Göran Mellin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hampus Benet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Mockfjärd getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Evert Stenqvist hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Mockfjärd's Eddie Asmundsson got a free kick in the 86th minute. Hampus Benet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 90 minutes into the match, Mats Holmberg notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Mockfjärd's Göran Mellin. Göran Mellin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mats Holmberg struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Göran Mellin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tierp. Göran Mellin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hampus Benet in the 95th minute of play.
