Spectators: 6673 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Östen Sandström took the kick off in the first half of the match. Rickard Bergman took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 14th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ivar Thorsberg. Altersbruk's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 15 minutes into the game, Gullabo's Håkan Vedholm nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ivar Thorsberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Christer Nyqvist scored 2-0 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ivar Thorsberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Wiktor Hultstrand received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Kurt Hamberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Altersbruk's Ivar Thorsberg got control of the ball when Håkan Vedholm tried to sneak it across the goal line. Altersbruk's Ivar Thorsberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Östen Sandström in the 32nd minute of play. Kurt Hamberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wiktor Hultstrand, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kurt Hamberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfons Njurenius in the 36th minute of the match. Nicklas Bolin's late challenge caught a Altersbruk's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nicklas Bolin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 37th match minute, Gullabo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicklas Bolin to maneuver through the defense. Håkan Vedholm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 47 minutes into the match, Håkan Vedholm notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Altersbruk's Ivar Thorsberg. Ivar Thorsberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alfons Njurenius made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Wiktor Hultstrand hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gullabo's Kurt Hamberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfons Njurenius in the 59th minute of play. The supporters of Altersbruk booed when Gullabo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Göran Wennerberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robin Alberg hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Kurt Hamberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfons Njurenius in the 68th minute of the match. In the 70th minute Håkan Vedholm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivar Thorsberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Håkan Vedholm might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ivar Thorsberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Håkan Vedholm ran back to his position shaking his head. If Håkan Vedholm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 74 minutes into the game, Leif Landin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Altersbruk's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gullabo the free kick. Håkan Vedholm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivar Thorsberg having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Östen Sandström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gullabo's supporters rose to their feet, but Östen Sandström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivar Thorsberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ivar Thorsberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Håkan Vedholm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute, Håkan Vedholm got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alfons Njurenius recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Wiktor Hultstrand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wiktor Hultstrand could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Kurt Hamberg made a huge save. 92 minutes into the game, one of Gullabo:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Kurt Hamberg, was totally fooled by Altersbruk's Isak Lidberg, who 94 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Altersbruk's Ivar Thorsberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Håkan Vedholm in the 98th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Gullabo fans cheered their team off the field, for while Altersbruk had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
