Spectators: 7386 (Terracing: 5541, Seating: 1698, VIP seats: 147) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alfons Njurenius kicked off to start the match. If Gert Nordström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patrik Malm's late challenge caught a Vålådalen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patrik Malm helped the player get up and apologised. In the 12th minute, Gert Nordström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vålådalen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Gabriel Brun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gert Nordström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivar Thorsberg having to interfere. Sverker Gregersson thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Ivar Thorsberg, a very annoying self made goal in the 22nd minute which led to 0-2. Gert Nordström might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ivar Thorsberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gert Nordström ran back to his position shaking his head. Patrik Malm was shown his second yellow card after 29 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Vålådalen booed when Altersbruk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrik Malm didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gert Nordström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivar Thorsberg having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Edvin Hjälm in the 42nd minute of play forced Altersbruk's goalkeeper Ivar Thorsberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes into the game, Kasper Lund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Altersbruk's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vålådalen the free kick.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gert Nordström to make the kick off. If Gert Nordström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Altersbruk's defense didn't have a chance, in the 65th minute, when Gabriel Brun scored to the left of an out of position Ivar Thorsberg, making the score, 0-3. Altersbruk's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Gert Nordström 71 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-4. After a defensive mix-up in Altersbruk's zone, Sven-Edvin Hjälm stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivar Thorsberg came out of the goal and Sven-Edvin Hjälm tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valter Brogren during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Vålådalen getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Valter Brogren hit a great ball. Altersbruk's Wiktor Hultstrand got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Altersbruk's defense didn't have a chance, in the 89th minute, when Gert Nordström scored to the left of an out of position Ivar Thorsberg, making the score, 0-5. Sven-Edvin Hjälm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 100th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vålådalen played a much better game than Altersbruk and deserved their victory. The Altersbruk players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
