But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pål Vassenius couldn't finish the play. The Habesh United fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when Habesh United's Allan Liljeström looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jon Fribäck hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Richard Lundgren might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Johannes Fernström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Johannes Fernström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Johannes Fernström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Allan Liljeström, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. When Måns Allbom fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Marabou's protests and gave Måns Allbom a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC Marabou getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Måns Allbom hit a great ball. Johannes Fernström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Svanér in the 93rd minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Habesh United had played much better football throughout.
