In the 15th minute of the match, Wiktor Hultstrand got a very nice opportunity to score, but Wilhelm Wikander was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 16 minutes into the game, Altersbruk's Wiktor Hultstrand nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wilhelm Wikander made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 19th minute, Altersbruk's Kasper Lund dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfons Njurenius in the 23rd minute of play forced Habesh United's goalkeeper Wilhelm Wikander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Habesh United's goalkeeper Wilhelm Wikander had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wiktor Hultstrand. Wilhelm Wikander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfons Njurenius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wilhelm Wikander made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Wiktor Hultstrand sent off a good shot on target. In the 28th minute, Altersbruk's Patrik Malm dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. In the 37th minute, Habesh United's Kenneth Vennerlund seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Kenneth Vennerlund the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Habesh United protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Kenneth Vennerlund had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 37 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Habesh United! The supporters of Habesh United booed when Altersbruk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kasper Lund didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute, Allan Liljeström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ivar Thorsberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Allan Liljeström to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Kasper Lund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Altersbruk's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Habesh United the free kick. In the 51st match minute, Altersbruk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kasper Lund to maneuver through the defense. Wilhelm Wikander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrik Malm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ivar Thorsberg came out of the goal and Allan Liljeström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrik Malm in the 76th minute of play forced Habesh United's goalkeeper Wilhelm Wikander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Leif Landin fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Altersbruk's protests and gave Leif Landin a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Altersbruk getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Leif Landin hit a great ball.
