Spectators: 7238 (Terracing: 5430, Seating: 1665, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Per Holmberg started the match with the kick off. If Per Holmberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Krister Fernkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Per Åberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Per Åberg made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Per Holmberg sent off a good shot on target. Per Holmberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per Åberg having to interfere. Jack Sandström kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute, Jack Sandström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Per Holmberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Per Åberg made a huge save. Per Holmberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Per Åberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valskog RK's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Krister Fernkvist 34 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. Per Holmberg struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Per Åberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Liverpool.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Folke Stenqvist made a kick off. After having played for 54 minutes, Malte Lönn managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Liverpool's supporters crossed their fingers, but Malte Lönn was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Krister Fernkvist might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Per Åberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Krister Fernkvist ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per Holmberg in the 58th minute of play forced Valskog RK's goalkeeper Per Åberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Per Holmberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Torsten Holmberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Per Åberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd minute of the match Liverpool got a corner. Valskog RK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Krister Fernkvist ran over to the corner to take the kick. Liverpool's Krister Fernkvist was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Per Åberg in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 65 minutes into the match, Folke Stenqvist notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Liverpool's Anton Wahlnäs. Anton Wahlnäs was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Valskog RK's Per Åberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Krister Fernkvist in the 75th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Per Holmberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Per Åberg. Valskog RK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Per Holmberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Krister Fernkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Liverpool's supporters rose to their feet, but Krister Fernkvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Per Åberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Valskog RK's Per Åberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per Holmberg in the 84th minute of play. Per Åberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per Holmberg in the 88th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulrik Dahlman in the 91st minute of play forced Valskog RK's goalkeeper Per Åberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that Liverpool were the better team. Liverpool's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
