Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Lars-Erik Sjö took the kick off in the first half of the match. Lars-Erik Sjö kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Forza Bajen's Per-Erik Hansson got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kjell Damm kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. If Roger Lundström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 18 minutes into the game, Lars-Erik Sjö was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sponken FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Forza Bajen the free kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fred Trulsson in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adam Överman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Per-Erik Hansson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adam Överman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Sponken FK's Bernt Säv got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Roger Lundström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leif Lindkvist in the 29th minute of play forced Forza Bajen's goalkeeper Thomas Lindström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Sponken FK's Lars-Erik Sjö sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thomas Lindström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Calle Ödman kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Per-Erik Hansson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Forza Bajen's supporters rose to their feet, but Per-Erik Hansson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adam Överman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thomas Lindström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars-Erik Sjö in the 46th minute of the match. In the 48th minute, Fred Trulsson fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fred Trulsson to strike the kick off in the second half. Thomas Lindström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roger Lundström in the 56th minute. Adam Överman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fred Trulsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Forza Bajen's Thomas Lindström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Forza Bajen from getting a goal against them. Adam Överman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fred Trulsson's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. The supporters of Forza Bajen booed when Sponken FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leif Lindkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Per-Erik Hansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Adam Överman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Per-Erik Hansson in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adam Överman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 84 minutes into the game, Lars-Erik Sjö recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Thomas Lindström. Lars-Erik Sjö showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. If Fred Trulsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fred Trulsson struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Adam Överman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Forza Bajen. Sponken FK's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
