Fagerås's Emanuel Gerdberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Ove Lilja in the 13th minute of play. Sven-Edvin Sandström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Emanuel Gerdberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Albert Strömqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Fagerås's zone, Sven-Edvin Sandström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kalmar FF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 47 minutes into the match, Fagerås's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Ove Lilja came free, but Emanuel Gerdberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sven-Ove Lilja to make the kick off. When Sven-Ove Lilja came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Kalmar FF fans jumped to their feet. The referee ignored Kalmar FF's protests and gave Christer Nordmark a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Kalmar FF's Christer Nordmark got a free kick in the 76th minute. Fagerås's Karl-Ove Blom shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 76th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ivar Nordström but with some difficulty. A collision led to Kalmar FF getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Ingvar Lundgren hit a great ball. 81 minutes into the game, Albert Strömqvist recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ivar Nordström. Albert Strömqvist showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Max Mattsson in the 86thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ivar Nordström, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 87th minute Albert Strömqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivar Nordström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Maximilian Enström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fagerås's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximilian Enström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivar Nordström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 91 played minutes Kalmar FF got a freekick which was hit by Ingvar Lundgren. Albert Strömqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivar Nordström having to interfere. A collision led to Kalmar FF getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Christer Nordmark hit a great ball. Fagerås's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
