IF Sälä's supporters rose to their feet, but Einar Söderqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edward Skålberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 13th minute, Håkan Nässén left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The IF Sälä fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rudolf Vik during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 18 played minutes Kittys Juniorer got a freekick which was hit by Rudolf Vik. When Håkan Nässén came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the IF Sälä fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Håkan Nässén couldn't finish the play. Edward Skålberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Einar Söderqvist's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. If Håkan Nässén had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kittys Juniorer's Edward Skålberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Håkan Nässén in the 27th minute of play. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edward Skålberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Einar Söderqvist put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Edward Skålberg. Edward Skålberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Einar Söderqvist in the 35th minute of the match. Melker Holmgren took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edward Skålberg. Edward Skålberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. If Håkan Nässén had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. IF Sälä's Einar Söderqvist got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Håkan Nässén struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Edward Skålberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for IF Sälä. After the first half IF Sälä were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The crowd rose to their feet as Einar Söderqvist kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Edward Skålberg. That made the score 0-4 in the 60 minute of play. In the 64th minute Marcos Duarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edward Skålberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edward Skålberg made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Einar Söderqvist sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Şaban Ünverdi got free with Edward Skålberg in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Einar Söderqvist blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edward Skålberg having to make a save. Einar Söderqvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Edward Skålberg made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Kittys Juniorer's Mathias Åkerman got a free kick in the 79th minute. Victor Överman hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. William Hökqvist took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 81st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Edward Skålberg. Kittys Juniorer's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Kittys Juniorer's Edward Skålberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Einar Söderqvist in the 82nd minute of play. Edward Skålberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Duarte in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Einar Söderqvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The IF Sälä fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. 94 minutes into the game, Einar Söderqvist recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Edward Skålberg. Einar Söderqvist showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. The Kittys Juniorer fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. IF Sälä were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
