Andréas Kalfhage was extremely unlucky when he, in the 10th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Patrik Grönberg struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Torsten Fransson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Energibefriade. Andréas Kalfhage received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Ronny Åkerman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andréas Kalfhage got free with Ronny Åkerman in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ronny Åkerman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Bergström in the 19th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, The Zlatibras's Brian Flinck got a free kick in the 20th minute. Andréas Kalfhage's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ronny Åkerman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, The Zlatibras's goal looked a bit too open when Sivert Kvick came free, but Torsten Fransson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Zlatibras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andréas Kalfhage was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Torgny Fribäck was the one to do the kick off. Energibefriade's Patrik Grönberg got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Torgny Fribäck did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-1 to the left of a surprised Torsten Fransson 58 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Fabian Bergström managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Zlatibras's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabian Bergström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ronny Åkerman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ronny Åkerman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andréas Kalfhage in the 66th minute of the match.
