Kjell-Arne Pihlblad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Ennegren in the 11th minute of the match. If Tobias Dahlberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alex Ahlbom in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jens-Erik Gallberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Börje Henriksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Robert Östensson during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Robert Östensson hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. When Börje Henriksson came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Forserum fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Börje Henriksson couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Olympique Västberga's zone, Robert Ennegren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kjell-Arne Pihlblad came out of the goal and Robert Ennegren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 24th match minute, Olympique Västberga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Ahlbom to maneuver through the defense. If Alex Ahlbom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Ahlbom in the 33rd minute of play forced Forserum's goalkeeper Jens-Erik Gallberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alex Ahlbom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tobias Dahlberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Jens-Erik Gallberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jens-Erik Gallberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Ahlbom in the 39th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Tony Söderquist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 43rd minute Alex Ahlbom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens-Erik Gallberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alex Ahlbom made a kick off. Olympique Västberga's Tobias Dahlberg got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Tobias Dahlberg came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Olympique Västberga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tobias Dahlberg couldn't finish the play. In the 63rd minute, Tobias Dahlberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jens-Erik Gallberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The supporters of Olympique Västberga booed when Forserum was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Börje Henriksson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jens-Erik Gallberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Ahlbom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Olympique Västberga were awarded a corner in the 71th minute after Forserum's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rickard Frisk took the corner. The corner ended in Rickard Frisk almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Forserum's Jens-Erik Gallberg did a great save. A hard shot by Thomas Nyman from long distance, 75 minutes into the match, got Jens-Erik Gallberg's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Jens-Erik Gallberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tobias Dahlberg in the 79th minute. If Robert Ennegren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tobias Dahlberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Jens-Erik Gallberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alex Ahlbom got in the 91st a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Jens-Erik Gallberg handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. If Alex Ahlbom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Olympique Västberga getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Robert Östensson hit a great ball. Olympique Västberga played a much better game than Forserum and deserved their victory. The Forserum players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
