Björn Utter didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Reine Wästerberg went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 16 minutes into the match, Christian Vidman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Björn Utter. Borrby's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christian Vidman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 21st minute, Emanuel Arvidsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Kim Björk managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when Borrby's Per-Åke Ahlgren fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Tomas Browall sped through Borrby's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Björn Utter. After a rather tough play, Fangorn's Christian Vidman got a free kick in the 38th minute. Tomas Browall struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Björn Utter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fangorn. Tomas Browall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Björn Utter having to interfere.

The wind increased when Reine Wästerberg made the kick off in the second half. Tomas Browall struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Björn Utter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fangorn. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Urban Löfgren during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Urban Löfgren hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After having played for 63 minutes, Reine Wästerberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fangorn's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reine Wästerberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fangorn's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Borrby the free kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Holger Kuse in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kim Björk saved Fangorn from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Tomas Browall's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Björn Utter was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. When Tomas Browall came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Fangorn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Browall couldn't finish the play. Björn Utter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Browall in the 97th minute of the match.
