Per Pilberg made a great header on Löddeköpinge's corner, it was just that Fangorn's Kim Björk managed to reach the ball for a save. The long shot by Stefan Hägg in the 38th minute really tested Bertil Strömqvist's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 39 played minutes Löddeköpinge got a freekick which was hit by Bernt Nord. The audience thought a goal was coming when Reine Wästerberg got free with Bertil Strömqvist in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fangorn's Tomas Browall got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot by Stefan Hägg from long distance, 48 minutes into the match, got Bertil Strömqvist's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Stefan Colin made the kick off in the second half. If Stefan Colin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bertil Strömqvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Reine Wästerberg went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 69th match minute, Fangorn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Vidman to maneuver through the defense. When Tomas Browall, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 76 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Bertil Strömqvist was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reine Wästerberg in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bertil Strömqvist saved Löddeköpinge from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reine Wästerberg in the 79th minute of play forced Löddeköpinge's goalkeeper Bertil Strömqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute, Birger Hallgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Reine Wästerberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th minute, Tomas Browall left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fangorn fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Bertil Strömqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reine Wästerberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Löddeköpinge's zone, Tomas Browall stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bertil Strömqvist came out of the goal and Tomas Browall tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 94 played minutes Löddeköpinge got a freekick which was hit by Birger Hallgren. Fangorn walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
