Spectators: 7257 (Terracing: 5444, Seating: 1669, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Erik Falck started the match with the kick off. Bertil Strömqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Falck in the 4th minute of the match. When Bernt Nord fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Löddeköpinge's protests and gave Bernt Nord a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 7 minutes, Erik Falck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Österäng idrottssällskap's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erik Falck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 10 played minutes Österäng idrottssällskap got a freekick which was hit by Per-Åke Lindblom. Kåre Löfskog took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Albert Bergström. Albert Bergström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Österäng idrottssällskap's zone, Kåre Löfskog stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albert Bergström came out of the goal and Kåre Löfskog tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bertil Strömqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Falck in the 27th minute of the match. Österäng idrottssällskap's Åke Dalström suffered a concussion in the 27th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Martin Liljeström charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Martin Liljeström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 28th match minute, Löddeköpinge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Liljeström to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute, Lars Pihlwall left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Österäng idrottssällskap fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. After a rather tough play, Österäng idrottssällskap's Gustav Lund got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Kåre Löfskog sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stefan Colin struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Albert Bergström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Löddeköpinge. Kåre Löfskog sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kåre Löfskog in the 43rd minute of play forced Österäng idrottssällskap's goalkeeper Albert Bergström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lars Pihlwall did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-1 to the left of a surprised Bertil Strömqvist 45 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stefan Colin made a kick off. Albert Bergström made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Kåre Löfskog sent off a good shot on target. Lars Pihlwall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bertil Strömqvist having to interfere. Bertil Strömqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albin Bergman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Österäng idrottssällskap's Albert Bergström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefan Colin in the 61st minute of play. In the 66th minute, Kåre Löfskog got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefan Colin in the 68th minute of play forced Österäng idrottssällskap's goalkeeper Albert Bergström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the game, one of Österäng idrottssällskap:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 72 minutes, Löddeköpinge's Per Pilberg got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Albert Bergström. Erik Falck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Bertil Strömqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th match minute, Österäng idrottssällskap was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per-Åke Lindblom to maneuver through the defense. Kåre Löfskog sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Österäng idrottssällskap's goalkeeper Albert Bergström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 88 played minutes Österäng idrottssällskap got a freekick which was hit by Holger Mellbad. Tomas Vidman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Österäng idrottssällskap's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
