In the 15th match minute, Hyllinge FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan-Olof Pettersson to maneuver through the defense. 19 minutes into the match, Hyllinge FF's goalkeeper Erik Berggren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alf Strand. Jan-Olof Pettersson hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Olle Rönn during the 24th minute. Georg Pihl's late challenge caught a Grillen BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Georg Pihl helped the player get up and apologised. Georg Pihl hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Olle Rönn struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Erik Berggren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grillen BK. In the 38th minute, Simon Häll ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erik Berggren was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 63rd minute Charlie Axelsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Berggren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Hyllinge FF booed when Grillen BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Ove Hedlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd minute Georg Pihl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Birger Ekeberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
