After 19 minutes of play, Edane FK's Henric Östlund made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jarl Spetz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jarl Spetz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jakob Ivarsson's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. In the 27th minute, Jörn Sandberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 30 minutes, Torgny Bolin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Edane FK and the Jan Junnis Klubb players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Jan Junnis Klubb booed when Edane FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torgny Bolin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Charlie Blomqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bertil Ahlgren in the 31st minute of play. Bertil Ahlgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charlie Blomqvist having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Jan Junnis Klubb's Alfons Hurtig got a free kick in the 40th minute. Jakob Ivarsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Henric Östlund's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 45thth minute, Jarl Spetz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jörn Sandberg made a kick off. In the 55th minute, one of Jan Junnis Klubb:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Jan Junnis Klubb. In the 68thth minute of the game Jörn Sandberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Edane FK's Charlie Blomqvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Jan Junnis Klubb's goal looked a bit too open when Jakob Ivarsson came free, but Jarl Spetz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute Jörn Sandberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charlie Blomqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valentin Tidén during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bertil Ahlgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Bertil Ahlgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute, Jakob Ivarsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Edane FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Many of Jan Junnis Klubb's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Jan Junnis Klubb may have spent more time on the ball, but Edane FK were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
