The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Inge Eklund showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Nils Sandell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inge Eklund having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, Hamneda FF's goalkeeper Anders Wallmark had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yngve Berggren. The Hamneda FF fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when Hamneda FF's Sebastian Magnusson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Hamneda FF's Freddie Gudmundsson got a free kick in the 37th minute. Nils Sandell's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Inge Eklund read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sebastian Magnusson made a kick off. Sebastian Magnusson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inge Eklund having to interfere. 64 minutes into the match, Vindeln's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Magnusson came free, but Inge Eklund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Vindeln's Inge Eklund got control of the ball when Nils Sandell tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sebastian Magnusson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vindeln's Inge Eklund proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Vindeln from getting a goal against them. If Yngve Berggren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anders Wallmark made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yngve Berggren in the 91st minute of play. Yngve Berggren struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Anders Wallmark didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vindeln. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Vindeln fans cheered their team off the field, for while Hamneda FF had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
