Håkan Ståhlberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paul Wahlström in the 4th minute. Kalle Andersson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vidar Söderberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ingmar Vallgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Håkan Ståhlberg having to interfere. In the 16th match minute, Stampens BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paul Wahlström to maneuver through the defense. Kalle Andersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vidar Söderberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 27th minute, Vidar Söderberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 33 minutes into the match, Vidar Söderberg notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Stampens BK's Kalle Andersson. Kalle Andersson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vidar Söderberg made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sebastian Uggla during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 55 minutes into the match, Ingmar Vallgren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Håkan Ståhlberg. IFK TUMBA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ingmar Vallgren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Håkan Ståhlberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paul Wahlström, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 71st play minute Per-Erik Helström came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Kalle Andersson. 1-2. When Per-Erik Helström came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the IFK TUMBA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Per-Erik Helström couldn't finish the play. Per-Erik Helström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Kalle Andersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Per-Erik Helström took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kalle Andersson. Kalle Andersson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Paul Wahlström struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Håkan Ståhlberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stampens BK. Håkan Ståhlberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingmar Vallgren in the 91st minute of the match. Ingmar Vallgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mattias Offendahl charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mattias Offendahl the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ingmar Vallgren took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Håkan Ståhlberg. Håkan Ståhlberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. The IFK TUMBA players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
