Spectators: 7244 (Terracing: 5434, Seating: 1666, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Vilhelm Wallin started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Hasselfors BK's goal looked a bit too open when Kim Ödmann came free, but Charles Fransson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vilhelm Wallin in the 15th minute of play forced Kågeröd's goalkeeper Malte Gunnarsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Niklas Bergman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 23 minutes, Gottfrid Öberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hasselfors BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gottfrid Öberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Karl-Ove Ennegren during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Hasselfors BK booed when Kågeröd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Ove Ennegren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gottfrid Öberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Malte Gunnarsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Börje Trillkott kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Kågeröd's Thor Björkqvist couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Hasselfors BK. Charles Fransson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niklas Bergman, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After a rather tough play, Hasselfors BK's Christer Bröms got a free kick in the 37th minute. Thor Björkqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gottfrid Öberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Malte Gunnarsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Hasselfors BK defense, Niklas Bergman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Charles Fransson. The Hasselfors BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Charles Fransson should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Niklas Bergman to make the kick off. Hasselfors BK's Charles Fransson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Hasselfors BK from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Hasselfors BK's Charles Fransson got control of the ball when Kim Ödmann tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Kågeröd's Christoffer Lundström got a free kick in the 61st minute. Malte Gunnarsson came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Hasselfors BK's Tage Gustavsson. But to his dismay, Tage Gustavsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 76th minute Niklas Bergman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charles Fransson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gottfrid Öberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Malte Gunnarsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 82 minutes into the game, Kågeröd's Kim Ödmann nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Charles Fransson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 86th minute Gottfrid Öberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Malte Gunnarsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Vilhelm Wallin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
