Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Matthias Sandberg started the match with the kick off. In the 5th match minute, IFK TUMBA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bertil Blomqvist to maneuver through the defense. If Karl-Ove Lundberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Rissne FC booed when IFK TUMBA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vidar Söderberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Matthias Sandberg got free with Håkan Ståhlberg in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 16 minutes into the match, Henrik Palmquist notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of IFK TUMBA's Håkan Ståhlberg. Håkan Ståhlberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Karl-Ove Lundberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Håkan Ståhlberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rissne FC's Matthias Sandberg got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Håkan Ståhlberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Martin Finnman in the 30th minute. In the 31st minute Vidar Söderberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Nordgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Nordgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per-Erik Helström in the 33rd minute of the match. Karl-Ove Lundberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Håkan Ståhlberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matthias Sandberg had several of the IFK TUMBA's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 48 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Håkan Ståhlberg as he didn't even see the shot coming. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vidar Söderberg was the one to do the kick off. Jonathan Nordgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vidar Söderberg in the 62nd minute of play. Håkan Ståhlberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Ove Lundberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute, Henrik Palmquist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Karl-Ove Lundberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karl-Ove Lundberg, 81 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matthias Sandberg in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Håkan Ståhlberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 92ndth minute of the game Matthias Sandberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but IFK TUMBA's Håkan Ståhlberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Per-Erik Helström got free with Jonathan Nordgren in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Håkan Ståhlberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Matthias Sandberg's shot from short distance in the 98th minute.
