Spectators: 7252 (Terracing: 5440, Seating: 1668, VIP seats: 144) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Arne Falk took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Väja IF's goalkeeper Adrian Berggren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Adrian Berggren was a little too slow when Ulrik Wennerberg got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in The Ginger Kids's zone, Jan-Åke Bållström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl-Ove Fridlund came out of the goal and Jan-Åke Bållström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jan-Åke Bållström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arne Falk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Karl-Ove Fridlund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, The Ginger Kids's Ulrik Wennerberg got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 32nd match minute, The Ginger Kids was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulrik Wennerberg to maneuver through the defense. Karl-Ove Fridlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arne Falk in the 34th minute of the match. Karl-Ove Fridlund stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jan-Åke Bållström's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Karl-Ove Fridlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arne Falk in the 37th minute of play. Väja IF's Jan-Åke Bållström got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jan-Åke Bållström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Karl-Ove Fridlund having to make a save. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jan-Åke Ström to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Väja IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jack Stålman to maneuver through the defense. In the 54th minute, Niclas Åström sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Väja IF's Adrian Berggren didn't even have to move. After having played for 59 minutes, Jan-Åke Bållström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Väja IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan-Åke Bållström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carl Hagberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Berggren having to interfere. Adrian Berggren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carl Hagberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jan-Åke Bållström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Arne Falk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Ove Fridlund having to interfere. Adrian Berggren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Åke Ström in the 94th minute of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
