Glidarna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Väja IF the free kick. A collision led to Glidarna getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Ture Colin hit a great ball. Adrian Berggren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ture Colin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jan-Åke Bållström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ragnar Mårtensson having to interfere. Per-Olof Wennerberg struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Ragnar Mårtensson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Väja IF. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arne Falk in the 24th minute of play forced Glidarna's goalkeeper Ragnar Mårtensson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frans Andersson kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Jan-Åke Bållström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ragnar Mårtensson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Jan-Åke Bållström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ragnar Mårtensson having to interfere. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan-Åke Bållström couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Per-Olof Wennerberg during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 86th match minute, Väja IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per-Olof Wennerberg to maneuver through the defense.
