The corner was taken by Zebastian Blomqvist in the 5th minute. The corner ended in Zebastian Blomqvist almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Vittskövle IK's Kåre Blomberg did a great save. After a defensive mix-up in Vittskövle IK's zone, Lennart Moberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kåre Blomberg came out of the goal and Lennart Moberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 10th match minute, Vittskövle IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sune Bollström to maneuver through the defense. After 16 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If Kjell-Arne Klintæus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Andreas Ekeberg fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vittskövle IK's protests and gave Andreas Ekeberg a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Vittskövle IK getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Andreas Ekeberg hit a great ball. Gideonsbergs IF's Kjell-Arne Klintæus got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 30 minutes, Kjell-Arne Klintæus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gideonsbergs IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kjell-Arne Klintæus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 33 minutes into the match, Vittskövle IK's goalkeeper Kåre Blomberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfred Borre. The audience held their breath when Staffan Mickelsson in the 36th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Valentin Forssell's left hand side. Kåre Blomberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kjell-Arne Klintæus, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Zebastian Blomqvist might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kåre Blomberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zebastian Blomqvist ran back to his position shaking his head. If Alfred Borre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zebastian Blomqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Kåre Blomberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 45 minutes into the game, Albin Strandberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andreas Ekeberg to make the kick off. If Albin Strandberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 54 minutes into the match, Alfred Borre notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Vittskövle IK's Kåre Blomberg. Kåre Blomberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Gideonsbergs IF booed when Vittskövle IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harald Lustig didn't get a good kick on the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Gideonsbergs IF's Zebastian Blomqvist broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Kjell-Arne Klintæus's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kåre Blomberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Björn Kihlman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lennart Moberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kåre Blomberg having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Vittskövle IK's Sune Bollström got a free kick in the 69th minute. If Albin Strandberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kjell-Arne Klintæus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Alfred Borre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute.
