Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aron Enegren in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patrick Johnsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 18 minutes, Gustaf Eliasson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gullringen FK and the Bygdsiljum BF players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Bygdsiljum BF booed when Gullringen FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustaf Eliasson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gullringen FK's Gustaf Eliasson got his second yellow card of the match in the 21st minute. The referee ordered Gustaf Eliasson off the ground. After 37 minutes, Ivar Nordstedt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gullringen FK and the Bygdsiljum BF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Bygdsiljum BF's zone, Roy Hjälm stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl Rydberg came out of the goal and Roy Hjälm tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sören Bern to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Ivar Nordstedt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aron Enegren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th match minute, Gullringen FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mark Botvidsson to maneuver through the defense. The referee ignored Gullringen FK's protests and gave Mark Botvidsson a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Gullringen FK's Mark Botvidsson got a free kick in the 74th minute. Sören Bern received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Patrick Johnsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roy Hjälm in the 80th minute of play forced Bygdsiljum BF's goalkeeper Karl Rydberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 83 minutes, Mark Botvidsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gullringen FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mark Botvidsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Roy Hjälm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute, Roy Hjälm got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle went the supporters of Bygdsiljum BF were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Gullringen FK side.
