Gullringen FK's Roy Hjälm got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Roy Hjälm took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mårten Hedlund. Mårten Hedlund dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Roy Hjälm managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gullringen FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Roy Hjälm was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mårten Hedlund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ivar Nordstedt's late challenge caught a Vedevåg RK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ivar Nordstedt helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Gullringen FK getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Ivar Nordstedt hit a great ball. Vedevåg RK's Stig Palmkvist got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mark Botvidsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mårten Hedlund having to interfere. Tony Pålsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Patrick Johnsson made a huge save. Ivar Nordstedt was shown his second yellow card after 29 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 29 played minutes Gullringen FK got a freekick which was hit by Ivar Nordstedt. After a rather tough play, Vedevåg RK's Arman Bennet got a free kick in the 38th minute. Stig Palmkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Patrick Johnsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Gullringen FK were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roy Hjälm to strike the kick off in the second half. Patrick Johnsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tony Pålsson in the 53rd minute of play. Stig Palmkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Patrick Johnsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Vedevåg RK booed when Gullringen FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timmy Odin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vedevåg RK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stig Palmkvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Knut Olofsson was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 87 minutes had been played. The supporters of Gullringen FK booed when Vedevåg RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Knut Olofsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mårten Hedlund made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Roy Hjälm sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 94 minutes, Tony Pålsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vedevåg RK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tony Pålsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Gullringen FK had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
