An unexpectedly hard shot by George Vallin in the 4th minute of play forced Malmö FF's goalkeeper Oscar Salkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. George Vallin took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Oscar Salkvist. Oscar Salkvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. George Lange took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frans Eklund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Östen Deckberg hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Kennet Hökqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Oscar Salkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Slogan Brothers booed when Malmö FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Brandin didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by George Vallin during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 35th minute, George Vallin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 42nd minute, George Vallin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 45 minutes into the match, Slogan Brothers's goal looked a bit too open when Frans Eklund came free, but George Lange reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oscar Salkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Vallin, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. A collision led to Slogan Brothers getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Jan-Åke Wallin hit a great ball. After having played for 61 minutes, Frans Eklund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Malmö FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frans Eklund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 66th minute by Kennet Hökqvist got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Kennet Hökqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Kennet Hökqvist struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Oscar Salkvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Slogan Brothers. When Kennet Hökqvist came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Slogan Brothers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kennet Hökqvist couldn't finish the play. A hard shot 78 in the game by Kennet Hökqvist from a close distance when the talented Oscar Salkvist managed to make a qualified save. Malmö FF's players were relieved. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 81st minute of the game. One of Slogan Brothers:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Malmö FF:s goal. After having played for 86 minutes, Folke Ekblom managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Slogan Brothers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Folke Ekblom was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Malmö FF's Bernt Strömberg got a free kick in the 91st minute. George Vallin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Despite being the better team, Slogan Brothers failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
