Spectators: 6672 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1672, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sven-Åke Lundkvist kicked off to start the match. After having played for 4 minutes, Jörn Nordstedt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Blackbay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jörn Nordstedt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Andreas Pålsson kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. A collision led to Blackbay getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Robin Björk hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Peder Ekeroth got free with Peter Källberg in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 11th match minute, Gustavsfors IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erland Tinglöv to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes into the match, Herbert Askestät had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Peter Källberg. Blackbay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Herbert Askestät was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Wictor Beck hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Karl-Magnus Biörnberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Boris Holm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Sven-Åke Lundkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karl-Magnus Biörnberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Boris Holm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sven-Åke Lundkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Blackbay's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Herbert Askestät 30 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Gustavsfors IFK's zone, Karl-Magnus Biörnberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Boris Holm came out of the goal and Karl-Magnus Biörnberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Blackbay booed when Gustavsfors IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Knut Enegren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sven-Åke Lundkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boris Holm having to interfere. In the 47th minute Herbert Askestät shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Källberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Herbert Askestät to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andreas Pålsson in the 55th minute of play forced Blackbay's goalkeeper Peter Källberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Blackbay's goal looked a bit too open when Peder Ekeroth came free, but Peter Källberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute Erland Tinglöv shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Källberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peter Källberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herbert Askestät in the 63rd minute of play. In the 65th minute, Jörn Nordstedt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 68 played minutes Blackbay got a freekick which was hit by Jack Sandell. After 72 played minutes Blackbay got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Åke Lundkvist. Wictor Beck lost his temper 74 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 73 minutes into the game, one of Blackbay:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Malte Berg placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Andreas Pålsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Peter Källberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peter Källberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andreas Pålsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Boris Holm made an important save on a dangerous shot by Karl-Magnus Biörnberg in the 86th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Gustavsfors IFK's zone, Karl-Magnus Biörnberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Boris Holm came out of the goal and Karl-Magnus Biörnberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 94 minutes into the match, Blackbay's goal looked a bit too open when Peder Ekeroth came free, but Peter Källberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Blackbay's Peter Källberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herbert Askestät in the 97th minute of play. Blackbay's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
