The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Harald Molin came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Fruset Lag Söker Kärlek's Jens-Erik Alstedt. But to his dismay, Jens-Erik Alstedt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. A collision led to Fruset Lag Söker Kärlek getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Jens-Erik Alstedt hit a great ball. Uno Karlsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 32 minutes, Uno Karlsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arnäsvall BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Uno Karlsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Harald Molin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mark Wall in the 41st minute of play. Jens-Erik Alstedt might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Harald Molin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jens-Erik Alstedt ran back to his position shaking his head. After the first half Fruset Lag Söker Kärlek were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mark Wall was the one to do the kick off. If Åke Blanck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnäsvall BF's Harald Molin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Arnäsvall BF from getting a goal against them. If Uno Karlsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fruset Lag Söker Kärlek's goalkeeper Edward Wahlnäs, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Uno Karlsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Uno Karlsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edward Wahlnäs having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uno Karlsson in the 76th minute of play forced Fruset Lag Söker Kärlek's goalkeeper Edward Wahlnäs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mark Wall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Harald Molin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st minute Mark Wall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harald Molin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Uno Karlsson succeeded in the game's 83rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. In the 89th minute, Uno Karlsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Arnäsvall BF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. The Fruset Lag Söker Kärlek players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Arnäsvall BF from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
