The audience was convinced that Nils-Emil Nilsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nils-Erik Lundqvist was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. After some careless play in the FC Potente defense, Stefan Stenman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Evert Alstedt. The FC Potente fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Evert Alstedt should have stopped the shot. Jörn Trillkott fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils-Erik Lundqvist having to interfere. Nils-Erik Lundqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mattias Boklund, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Dacke IF's Nils-Erik Lundqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nils-Emil Nilsson in the 73rd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Jörn Trillkott took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Nils-Erik Lundqvist to make any attempt to save it. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Potente's Nils-Emil Nilsson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nils-Erik Lundqvist. That made the score 1-3 after 79 minutes of play.
