Spectators: 7230 (Terracing: 5534, Seating: 1696, VIP seats: 0) Ingvar Bergendahl started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After having played for 3 minutes, Gunnar Lindqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mantorp's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gunnar Lindqvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 6thth minute of the game Erik Eriksson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hargs IK's Torbjörn Strömberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Hargs IK booed when Mantorp was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Einar Linqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ingvar Bergendahl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Fredrik Brodin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Rudolf Sandwall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Eriksson in the 29th minute of play forced Hargs IK's goalkeeper Torbjörn Strömberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Hargs IK's Rudolf Sandwall sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fredrik Brodin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

After 54 minutes, Erik Eriksson made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Hargs IK's Torbjörn Strömberg tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Torbjörn Strömberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Söderqwist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Gunnar Lindqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rudolf Sandwall took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fredrik Brodin. Fredrik Brodin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. A collision led to Mantorp getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Vidar Olsson hit a great ball. Rudolf Sandwall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fredrik Brodin having to interfere. After 92 minutes of play Mantorp's Vidar Olsson was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Mantorp getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Vidar Olsson hit a great ball. Hargs IK's Ingvar Bergendahl got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mantorp's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
