After a defensive mix-up in Hargs IK's zone, Kenneth Lange stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Torbjörn Strömberg came out of the goal and Kenneth Lange tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Hargs IK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 6th minute. Penalty! Hargs IK:s Torbjörn Strömberg showed great skill when he stopped Manfred Hamberg:s penalty. In the 10th minute, Kenneth Lange got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With 23 minutes on the clock, Martin Högström commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Hargs IK's Torbjörn Strömberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Hargs IK from getting a goal against them. After 30 played minutes Kenneth Lange rounded Hargs IK's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. Torbjörn Strömberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andreas Nilsson in the 35th minute. In the 36th match minute, Hargs IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per-Erik Askstedt to maneuver through the defense. Kenneth Lange recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Torbjörn Strömberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kenneth Lange, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jens-Erik Bredberg charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jens-Erik Bredberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Hargs IK booed when Karesuando FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jens-Erik Bredberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Rudolf Sandwall managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hargs IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Rudolf Sandwall was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patric Lundqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Birger Lövskog blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Patric Lundqvist having to make a save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Kenneth Lange struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Torbjörn Strömberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Karesuando FF. In the 58th minute Kenneth Lange shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torbjörn Strömberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isac Stenberg charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Isac Stenberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Karesuando FF's Isac Stenberg got a free kick in the 64th minute. Jack Melberg missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 66 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Patric Lundqvist right hand side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sonny Soned during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 70th minute, Sonny Soned hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Andreas Nilsson put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Torbjörn Strömberg. Torbjörn Strömberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kenneth Lange, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kenneth Lange in the 80th minute of play forced Hargs IK's goalkeeper Torbjörn Strömberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Andreas Nilsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Torbjörn Strömberg was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. In the 87th minute, Kenneth Lange got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Torbjörn Strömberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andreas Nilsson in the 93rd minute of the match. Andreas Nilsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Torbjörn Strömberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Karesuando FF fans cheered their team off the field, for while Hargs IK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
