Spectators: 7300 (Terracing: 5477, Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 145) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ingvar Bergendahl started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Rudolf Sandwall ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rickard Telin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Edgar Karlsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edgar Karlsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torbjörn Strömberg having to interfere. Rudolf Sandwall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th minute, Ingvar Bergendahl fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Rickard Telin, passed just outside the right post. Rudolf Sandwall blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rickard Telin having to make a save. Hargs IK's Ingvar Bergendahl got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 28th minute, Karl-Axel Danielsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Calle Hermansson in the 32nd minute of play forced Hargs IK's goalkeeper Torbjörn Strömberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Valdemarsvik IK's goal looked a bit too open when Ingvar Bergendahl came free, but Rickard Telin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rudolf Sandwall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 37 minutes into the game, Herbert Haegg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Valdemarsvik IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hargs IK the free kick. The supporters of Hargs IK booed when Valdemarsvik IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herbert Haegg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Calle Hermansson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valdemarsvik IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Calle Hermansson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Torbjörn Strömberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Edgar Karlsson made the kick off in the second half. Rudolf Sandwall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rickard Telin having to interfere. In the 66th minute there was a penalty for Hargs IK. Tor Engman stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Rickard Telin. 2-0. In the 74th match minute, Valdemarsvik IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johan Nordal to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Hargs IK's Tor Engman tried to score from far away in the 75th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Valdemarsvik IK's Rickard Telin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rudolf Sandwall in the 77th minute of play. Ingvar Bergendahl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Rickard Telin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rudolf Sandwall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rickard Telin having to interfere. If Rudolf Sandwall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Herbert Haegg was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 93 minutes had been played. In the 93rd minute, Herbert Haegg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edgar Karlsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Torbjörn Strömberg having to make a save. Hargs IK walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
